Set yourself a personal goal (based on 25km/hour – you don’t have to ride for 24 hours, just achieve your goal), become a sponsored support rider and raise money for the event too. You’ll get your own fundraising page, an event t-shirt and a huge sense of achievement!
For anyone planning on doing La Vuelta Puerto Rico in January, it’s a great training ride – 246km will be the distance of the first day’s ride!
Free Accommodation For Overseas Riders
Courtesy of Horizon Yacht Charters we can offer up to 8 double cabins for two nights for Support Riders on a first come, first served basis. Contact us to book.
Free Bikes
We have 14 mountain bikes available to use if you don’t own or can’t bring a bike. Once again, on a first come, first served basis. Contact us to book.
Anyone that raises over $1,000 will become a 1KR ($1000 Rider) and earn a limited edition jersey to wear with pride.
If you want to raise funds and ride in the jersey you need to let us know by the 21st of October so we can order it in time.
If you don’t raise $1000, the jersey will be available on a sliding scale: The jersey will start at $200 and every $100 you raise knocks $20 off until you earn the limited edition 1KR symbol which will be reserved for those who raise the $1000 target.
